What Porting and Extrude Honing Does for a Turbocharger
Housing Porting:
Careful, race-style porting of the compressor and turbine housings improves turbocharger performance by:
- Reducing airflow restrictions through the housing passages.
- Smoothing abrupt transitions and sharp edges that cause turbulence and backpressure.
