Dyno-Proven Results

Our calibration testing on the 718 GTS 2.5L Turbo platform with my RaggDoll performance bolt-on’s has yielded incredible gains:

   •    100 Octane: +194 WHP / +127 WTQ* over stock

    •    93 Pump Gas: +165 WHP / +116 WTQ* over stock

    •    Stock Baseline: 325 WHP and 290 WTQ

After seeing what our RaggDoll Motorsports 718 race builds were doing out there — cars running our Velocity intakes, ELEV manifolds, Rennen and RS-series turbos — they were astonished by the power results we’d achieved. Numbers they hadn’t seen before on the Porsche 718 platform.

That moment sparked a collaboration. I immediately connected them with one of our client cars so they could begin developing custom ECU software tailored for the Porsche 718 Cayman, Boxster, and 982 Turbo (2.0L & 2.5L) engines — refining every aspect of drivability, throttle response, and boost control.

ECU calibrations include:

    •    Optimized throttle response

    •    Removed top-speed limiters

    •    Enhanced boost control

    •    Refined air/fuel ratios

    •    Adjusted ignition timing

    •    Retention of all OEM safety protocols plus additional M-Engineering failsafes

Raggdoll Motorsports set up two dyno sessions for my Porsche Turbo S. The Porsche touts a 4.0-liter built engine and head work facilitated by Sam at ByDesign. Also has the XR ByDesign turbo kit with all the supporting mods. The first session the PDK kept transitioning out of manual mode. During the second session a boost leak at the throttle body boot ended the session early. We managed 812 hp on a Mustang dyno at only 20 psi of boost.
